If you are looking for the contractor who performed the work on this project, contact Scott, the Preservation Products owner, at 610 566 7470 and ask for "the people that did the estate on the Chesapeake Bay"
This estate was built in the late 1900s, using new standing seam panels. Due to a manufacturing problem, the panels began to rust within a few years of the original installation. The owner was faced with a difficult choice: Either try to save these panels or replace. Besides the inconvenience of tearing off the existing panels, the cost difference between preserving metal panels or replacing them is significant.
The primer was applied first. Working panel by panel, the crew coated a small area. Immediately the crew applied a base coat of Preservation Products acrylic, then embed the stitchbond mesh.
